Grand Canyon Field School @ Home

Grand Canyon Field School @ Home is a collaboration between Grand Canyon Conservancy and the National Park Service. It is designed to provide engaging, curriculum-based activities and experiences for middle school-aged students.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in-person programs were halted and Canyon Field School @ Home was created as a way to keep kids connected to the Grand Canyon Field School while it was closed.

Canyon Field School @ Home brought geology, ecology, human history, and dark skies curriculum to parents, educators, clubs, and children through online videos and downloadable activity booklets.

On this project I partnered with both the Grand Canyon Conservancy and the National Park service and was the lead for all of the curriculum development, project management, and evaluation. I also worked hand-in-hand with grant writing,  graphic design, and the video projection team.
